After flirting with flash wheels, (Mavic Ksyrium SL), I've admitted defeat, (although never had any real issues, just my own worries).

I now run Mavic OP rims on Hope Pro3 hubs on my CAAD, but these hubs push the price up. The same rims on 105 hubs will be around what oldfatfool quoted above.

The Ribble I've sold had Halo Aerorage wheels. These are a stock wheelset and IIRC were about £180 from Wiggle. They have proved bombproof under my big old @rse and I'd recommend them heartily

I've gone for Mavic OP rims with 105 hubs. Going to look at better ones in the new year.

Nice one TB. As I said above, I was running lightweight wheels before I got my OP/Pro3 wheels. I do miss the blingyness of the SL's I had, but TBH I don't feel any slower on the OP's
