I struggled miserably on the way home, strong head wind and shattered from ride in, passed a couple of groups of hoodie scum on bmx's but they werent really cycling just probably scanning for crimes to commit.

5 last night, a new record as it is unusual to see more than 2 going the same way.
The split was 3 MTB's, 1 Roadie and 1 Copper on something that looked liked it weighed a tonne.

Nice one FFFF... I do think my 4 was probably a one off as I rarely see one cyclist even going the other way... Although last night I was paranoid that after my bragging I would get served up royally by someone on the way home so was constantly peeking over my shoulder!

I have discovere that the best thing is to give her £100 and send her off to the Garden centre with her mum. 4-5 hours (no exaggeration) later she will come home, i will fake irritation (i enjoy time with the kids) so she then feels guilty and encourages me to get out on the bike the next day for a good few hours.

Unfortunately this does require that you can afford to spend £400 a month on flowers (not me!) and it rely's on her feeling suitably guilty in the morning.

Thus planned weekend rides = difficult!

Now Spring's here and the car-boot season is once again upon us Mrs 3BM and the two 3BM Jrs will take themselves off for a good tat buying session leaving moi free to ride off bright and early on a Sunday morning without having to put in any effort elsewhere in the household.
Here's the big bonus - Mrs 3BM will come back with a pantechnicon full of stuff and she'll have only spent £3.75!!

You are right! Mrs Wigs also loves a boot fair and it's 95% cheaper!

Weekends are described as her days without kids as i get days without them whilst at work!
