I've got an old Dawes Stirling Tourer frame for sale. Made from 7005 Alloy tubing with cro mo forks.

I can find very little info on these bikes but would say it is equivilant to a Galaxy or perhaps a Karakum.

You can see more pictures here: http://s597.photobucket.com/albums/tt55/Telsun/dawes/

This frame has braze ons for everything! They include:

Canti/ v brake bosses
U brake (?) bosses behind the rear seat stays
Low rider bosses
Rack eyelets
Mudguard eyes
Triple bottle bosses
Dynamo on the front forks
Stand

Theres a couple of holes too which I don't know what they're for one is behind the seat tube at the bottom the other is at the top of the downtube behind the headtube.

The geometry is very laid back which makes for an extremely comfortable ride, clearly intended for the long distance rider.

As you can see from the picture the frame needs a refurb which is such a shame but then a fresh lick of paint (or powdercoat) would bring this bike back to it's former glory.

Will make a fantastic tourer, commuter, etc.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Looking for £50 + postage £10. Sale includes seatpost, crappy headset, triple bb, frame and fork. Wheels not included.
