Hi Guys. The Edinburgh Festival of Cycling is about to begin! There's loads to see, loads to do. Check out the EdFoc website to see the events calendar... http://edfoc.org.uk/
There are lots of free events too that you can get involved in, as well as lots of workshops, etc.
I'm doing a talk about my travel book: "At Home in the Bushes: Busking, Bikes & the Lure of the Open Road" at 2pm, on Friday 19th June, in the George Washington Browne room of the central library. Come hear my tales, and why I think Cycling & Wild Camping can save the world!! Oh, and it's FREE!! You just have to book through the website to ensure you get a seat.... http://www.edfoc.org.uk/events/event/at-home-in-the-bushes/
Here's a link to the Amazon E-book page, where you can read a few chapters of my book for free...http://www.amazon.co.uk/At-Home-Bushes-Busking-Bikes-ebook/dp/B00MWUNNRI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412179495&sr=8-1&keywords=At+Home+in+the+Bushes:+Busking,+Bikes+and+>+the+Lure+>>+of+the+Open+Road’
Hope to see you there. It's going to be a great event. After the Pedal on Parliament things are really starting to change in Edinburgh regarding cycling. They're designating 10% of the transport budget to improving cycle lanes. The one joining the Meadows to the Innocent Cycle Path is nearly finished. So you can ride into town with comfort.
Keep cycling folks.
