Mind you, I'm usually only there on Sunday mornings and these wee neds are generally nocturnal.

Yep. Only time I would ever use these paths is early morning. the little b*stards don't normally get out their stinking pits and slope down to the Offie until later in the day.

To the OP. I would deffo had a red mist moment and for a small period of time would have been in righteous justice mode. ie beat the fecks to death with their own branch. No jury would ever convict.

I know they circle like hyenas but just pick one and beat the sh*t out of them. Remember, adrenaline makes you impervious to pain!
