Ok, so let's get this thread back on track.

I am hoping to get a car soon and seriously considering this one.

Is the general consensus of opinion that it is ok or a bag of shite?

See thread title for full details.

When my wife was looking for a new 7 seater we looked at the Qashqai for all of 30 seconds. The 2 rear seats are no more than a couple of cushions stuck to the floor. In the end she went with a Ford S-MAX which I can highly recommend.

Can anyone come up with a reason to own one of these? All we seem to have is that you are higher off the ground. Is that good? Why do you want to be higher off the ground? If it is to see more then there are lots of cars with better visibility.

Is it that you want to go around trying to intimidate other road users and to push in to their space. The Ad was selling this 4x4 for use in towns cos it is "tough on the streets". Is anyone really going to let you past if you muscle along in your jappy (ok they are british made) little car? or are they more likely to not let you out of a junction cos they think you are a bit of a pushy tosser?

So apart from being crap to drive, slow, thirsty on fuel, noisy, annoying to other road users, pointless to have a 4x4 on tarmac, make everyone think you have a tiny cock, and the most stupid name ever: what has the Qashqai ever done for us?
