and the best thing is iv been using it like that for a week ,i checked the tyres last week when i had it on the stand but i cant think of when i done it ,is it tempting fate to use it tonight ?

Just put a re-enforcing boot in there untill you get a new tyre. Chop out a section from an old tyre or other suitable material and put it over the hole from th inside. It'll be fine.

iv just found a bit of mesh reinforced gaffa tape ,hopefully that sould b secure from the inside ,as iv not got an old tyre

I reckon that would do it. Or an old pair of rubber underpants that you don't use any more. Anything really.
