For 6 months I tried to get the effen c's to sign up to cycle to work. They said no as they didn't want to be left with bikes yada yada yada... then came tonight from this email from HR:

You will be pleased to know that the company is looking at the cycle to work scheme.

Yes, I am pleased that I bought a bike and now you decide to sign up to it

ask her why she can't be happy for you enjoying a very healthy hobby that's keeping you fit and in shape. Buying a bike makes you happy, so if you are happy so should she be. Also ask how much does she spend on hairdo's, shoes, clothes and make up over a year....?

Well she asked what I wanted for my birthday, she said I could have anything I like. So I said bust Asain twins... she found this strange for some reason! To be fair I spend more on cloths, hair and make-up than she does

Get drunk and nail her sister, tell her what you have done and when she is in tears smile and say "see... would have been much easier to just let me get the carbon road bike"

Few months later the divorce will come through... once you have recovered financially from that you can get all the bikes you want.
