Can we stop this thread please. I miss keeping chickens as I can't have any at this abode.

Sorry. They are lovely aren't they. They are so funny and endearing creatures. I never thought I would like them, but I do. Mine are brilliant. Sorry yih can't have chickens where you are.

Back in the past my breakfast would be poached eggs on home made toast. Some days the orpingtons would give double yolkers.
If we made a sponge cake it would be orange, the yolks were that good!
