Electric Bromptons which were manufactured, or had Firmware updates, between May 2020 and February 2021, need another firmware update to reduce the risk that they do not fail safe. See www.brompton.com/recall

Brompton are sending recall notifications to registered owners, it seems.
I've just had one, even though my Brom is decidedly non-electric.

And cycling groups, I think, which is how I got one. I think it may be a small risk but the damage to reputation if it occurs worries them.

I got one too, for my non-leccy Brompton. I registered when they had the issue with bottom brackets a while back and to their credit I've not had anything else since. I hate signing up for a particular reason and getting bombarded with junk emails so I'm happy with that frequency!
