Electric Razors 'Inspired' by other 3 head designs

Incidentally, the best one I ever owned was a (AA) battery Remington I got when I was a teen

Never could get the replacement foils though

I like the idea of an electric razor in theory but I never found one which work for me. I have had Phillips, Remington, Hitachi, and various cheapos but they all seem to lose their effectiveness very quickly (but my stubble resembles a wire brush I guess). Nowadays I use a DE razor exclusively.

I could never get on with the 3 rotating head versions, but a Braun Series 7 works for me. I use my DE setup for a proper shave though as it is a nice little ritual and does provide a closer shave, I just don’t have the time to do it most days.
