How can they demand payment for something you haven't ordered. I regularly get one from iTunes and have never ordered anything from itune. Delete and forget about it.

Unless you are a business, you won't be emailed an invoice. It's as simple as that.

It might be a good idea to kill the links and websites on the opening post, they still look live to me.
Someone might click them by mistake.

'They' can do more than that. 'They' can just help themselves to your money, with the collusion of the network operators, who share the spoils of this particularly squalid (and surprisingly widespread) scam:

Amazing. But true. It is quite amazing what major companies are allowed to get away with by the so-called regulators.

In the end, after The Guardian intervened, they received a cheque for £72. Money which would otherwise have been shared amicably between 'Zamono Solutions' and Vodafone - a FTSE 100 company.

There's a thread about the company named by Vodafone.
Owned by a 21 year old, and limited to Vodafone.

It still doesn't stop it being an easy problem to fix, or a suitable alternative solution till it is resolved.
That's one way to look at it. Another is that Vodafone and others like them should not be allowed to make it necessary. It's legalised robbery; not just 'demanding payment for something you haven't ordered', but taking your money for something you never ordered.

I don't really see what they (Vodafone) have done. How do they know whether the company has charged the person legitimately or not? How do they know if the customer has, or has not signed up for the services that they're being charged for?
