Bloody hell! :cursing:

Has Stokes got a brain? Just about three overs to go, England 51 runs behind, with six wickets in hand and ONE day's play left. So, WTF does he do? Reverse fakkin' sweep and out. W*nker.

If England could bat as long as possible and maybe build a lead of 150, they might have a chance of not losing. But Stoke's shot put that scenario off the radar.

Looks like when I went out to wash the cars things went form bad to worse for England; pity, as it looked like a not bad day for them until then.

Why drop the spinners from the previous test for a seamer??nseems crazy, better to have another spin option even if they are not the best

Back to earth for Jennings! First-baller after his debut ton in the first. But he's shown he is a name for the future and, IMO, the future looks bright, player-wise, for England.

As long as the selectors, coaches, psychologists etc. don't interfere too much, plus the real (£$£$) problem of too much different (Test, One Day and T20 ) cricket at both Test, international and domestic level.

On a bowling note: currently, Rashid and Ali bowled 108.3 overs out of 182.3. Makes you wonder what the men in ties are doing with regard to selection and 'tactics'!

Century and first baller on debut, this ever happened before?

Yes not going with more spin options is crazy

One word sums that up - pumped.

Impressive bowling figures for Ashwin, and I thought Jadeja was looking more dangerous on day 4 during the coverage I saw.

England have no clue how to bat defensively, bring back Boycott and his stick of rhubarb!

Is it right that the last team to win a match in India was England in 2012?

More of the same - A draw would be a good result - England batsmen have not played Ashwin and Jadeja well - however, difficult when it seems that every other ball has your name on it - how they can get a draw without having at least two very good spinners or a pitch that seams and swings I have no idea

England won the series 2-1 the the Saffers were 1-1 in a three match series - if you look at how many series the Indians have lost at home in the last thirty years it is not many

I'd be interested to hear your opinion....India have a fabulous home record it seems. How much is down to them being a really good cricketing nation and how much is down to conditions so alien to touring sides they have practically no chance?

A bit of both - Gavaskar - Tendulkar - Dravid - Kohli - to name but a few - add in that they can pick spin bowlers from a huge pool so that the ones they have are the creme la creme - Ashwin is world number 1 - Jadeja is second best spinner - and pitches that suit them - England got a bit lucky in that 2012 the Indian spinners were out of sorts - I seem to remember the Indians also messed up on pitches - plus Cook and Trott were on fire (not sure if that is not an oxymoron) and England had two very good spinners in Swann and Panesar
