A battling performance by England, Root and Bairstow have ridden their luck at times but have stuck with it.
Back to earth for Jennings! First-baller after his debut ton in the first. But he's shown he is a name for the future and, IMO, the future looks bright, player-wise, for England.
As long as the selectors, coaches, psychologists etc. don't interfere too much, plus the real (£$£$) problem of too much different (Test, One Day and T20 ) cricket at both Test, international and domestic level.
On a bowling note: currently, Rashid and Ali bowled 108.3 overs out of 182.3. Makes you wonder what the men in ties are doing with regard to selection and 'tactics'!

England won the series 2-1 the the Saffers were 1-1 in a three match series - if you look at how many series the Indians have lost at home in the last thirty years it is not many
