I confess I'd never heard of Hobden but it's always a great shock when a young player disappears.

Not sure, I do know Denis Compton scored 178 on his own in a session against Pakistan. One of the few records that Stokes hasn't beaten!!

I think T20 is the best thing that has happened to cricket in ages. It has completely transformed one day cricket from a real borefest to something genuinely exciting.

It seems we are seeing the trickle into test cricket. I've spent the last couple of hours watching two batsmen who have brought T20 skills to test cricket and it's been exhilerating
