That is simply wrong. Germany are usually regarded as consistent but unimaginative - a team which grinds out well-planned wins on the basis of an experienced, strong defence. This of course is a stereotype. I based my comments on the facts. This is the youngest squad Germany have had for some time - and you only have to see the way they have played, which is with some daring - it didn't pay off against Serbia, but against teams that have been poor defensively, as Australia were, and as Britain have been today, they have been irresistable.

Not for the last decade. The young and new generation stuff gets trotted out at every world cup and competition. They've played like this for some time.

This should have been started 2 or 3 years ago. Germany did - look at the difference. England seemed just to be put out that they didn't qualify for Euro 2008 'by right', and that the players they had were good enough anyway. They weren't then and they still aren't.
