I'm often amazed that some people don't read what they've written before they post it (or, where there is an edit function, at least return to edit it).
I read a comment recently where the poster was describing the poor relationship they had with their Step Ladder !
Yeah… I hate ladders.I'm often amazed that some people don't read what they've written before they post it (or, where there is an edit function, at least return to edit it).

This current fashion for not picking people up for their spelling/grammar/punctuation etc has some amusing effects, someone on Twitter has just said that there's nothing wrong with driving at the proscribed speed, and all the cyclists are agreeing with him.
I use SwiftKey on my phone and tablet. It has an annoying habit of changing its suggestions just as I am about to click on them. Either I have to correct the mistake or I don't notice and it slips through. That’s almost certainly an auto correct error.
They really annoy me. Especially when you click send just as it changes.

You wot?? It's the reason many people use the internet! Show me this wondrous platform/site that is free from pedantry, please!!!
Not having feeling in two fingers I find auto correct to be a right pain in the arsenal.
It's not the platform that is pedantic, it's the people who use it.
I delete and re-post if they haven't been replied to, but I still miss some.I always go back and reread my posts before hitting the “post” button.
I won't have any truck with it, it's a PITA.Auto correct can be a nuisance sometimes by inserting a different word out of context.
Someone once started a thread "People Who Use Ten Words When One Will Do", so I said "Shouldn't the title be 'Verbosity'?".It's not the platform that is pedantic, it's the people who use it.
