I heard he has no intention of going the distance, and plans to withdraw from the race at some point, but is using it as a single issue platform.... well, that's assuming he gets the signatures he needs to stand!

The seagulls always follow the trawler. They just don't always get sardines.

Given the man's temperament, I'm actually surprised he didn't use a stronger allegory. Likening the British tabloid press to seagulls is actually quite gentle.

But you've reminded me of something I've been meaning to do; that is, see if those words of Cantona's were original or actually some translated French saying.
