Pretty much as bought/sold in 1983. Bull Close Lane shop, Halifax.
It's missing a 531 sticker that should have been on the top tube, behind the head tube or on the seat tube.
Newtown in Wales, at the Coventry Eagle works.
Frank Clements, brother of Ernie Clements has a book that's worth a read.
A Bike Ride Through My Life by Frank Clements

Just measured it. 26mmWhat size seat post does it take?
I never asked the price, sorry. Thanks for the info.
Looks like the rear mech has been swapped - all the rest is Suntor but the rear mech is Shimano.
Regarding your comment about the missing 531 sticker; do you then think that the Tange 2001 sticker on the forks may not be genuine?
OP's bike wasn't a Falcon. With Ernie Clements connection with Elswick Falcon, have a look at the brochure and see if anything looks familiar. See link

The sticker is probably genuine but the forks are certainly non original. They may have have had plain forks or possibly 531.Regarding your comment about the missing 531 sticker; do you then think that the Tange 2001 sticker on the forks may not be genuine?
