Erratic Heart Monitor

When riding I wear York Pacer100 heart monitor which has become erratic I know that my heart is not doing 266 beats when I'm at rest (or at any other time!) I usually just lick the pads before wearing is my spit good enough or is there some magic fluid I should be using?

use water - get the contacts wet...

I just lick the pads too. Mmm, salty.

Try changing your battery, the reading starts to get erratic as it gets flat.
