My riding buddy and I are doing Etape Royale 2016, we're going up the week prior to the event and staying at the Ballater Campsite, my mate Andy is riding the 100 mile whilst i'm doing the 45, which causes me a bit of a problem, you have to register in Ballater on the Saturday before the ride on the Sunday, which means I've got to get from Ballater to Dufftown on the Sunday morning to get to my start point.
I'm thinking, if any of you guys are doing Etape Royale (either of the shorter rides, 45 or 65 mile) and have the same problem that i have, maybe we could gang up in Ballater on the Saturday afternoon/evening, after registration, and organize our transport as a group?
I'll start the ball rolling.........I drive a van which can easily carry 3 or 4 bikes..........anyone else need help with this?
