Do you really want your neighbours popping in and out of your garden whenever they feel like it?
We have a doorbell.

My neighbours are really nice people, who, like a lot of really nice people, also keep cats. My kitten craps in their garden is no more a problem then their two cats crapping in my garden. We both are grown up adults and accept that s*** happens, and move on. No point being a crybaby over it and flinging the teddy(or the crap) out of the pram.
I am taking responsibility for my cat, but cats unlike dogs cannot be leash trained, it is cruel, like making them eat vegetables or wear hats. Cats are not dogs and should not be thought of as such, rational and intelligent people know this. The law recognises this, why can't cat haters. And a lot of nice people don't keep cats. Why should they have to deal with your failure to take responsibility for your pet?
So you'd actually like to be disturbed on a regular basis??We have a doorbell.

I just think it would be nice if cat-owners would check with their neighbours periodically, to see if their pet is causing a problem.

And do what if it is?
If my dog shat on their front lawn, I'd pick it up.
and if i did not?As per snapper's post, apologise and offer to clean it up.
and if i did not?
and if i did not?
I'd be chucking it back over the fence and I wouldn't be too worried about where it landed.and if i did not?
