Barbara Woodhouse's Love Child
It's not far off the same scenario with next door's sprogs kicking a ball against a fence or over the fence and damaging property. Would you just think 'Oh bum, but never mind, my kids aren't yet trained' or would you apologise to the neighbours and offer to repair/fund the damage?

Right, I'm off home for a BBQ in my lovely garden unspoilt by sprogs, cats or their shite.

A thread which proves how tolerant cyclists are.............

What a load of poo! ^_^

I've got 3 cats, next door house 2, other next door has 1, there are 2 other cats always around. 8 cats and I never see any cat poo and I doubt if these 8 cats just happen to be the world's most fastidious! I have no idea where they poo(and tbh I don't want to know) but cats are pretty clean animals. Need poo - dig hole - poo - cover, it's not like a dog-type problem, with poo covering the pavements, sports pitches and play areas. Get a grip peeps.

My neighbours cat doesn't bury it!! I know this because every time I mow the grass out the front of my house there is a splatter of cat shat. And I tell you what...it smells ten times more foul than what comes out of my dogs butt!!!

Gee, I'd never realised that cats aren't dogs, thanks for pointing that out. I assume that you believe dogs should go round in packs, seeing as you're so keen on "natural" behaviour?

Anyway, you don't take responsibility for your pet - you allow it to crap in your neighbours' gardens. Have you ever been round to your non cat-owning neighbours to offer to clean it up?
Clearly you've such a limited understanding of the English language that I'll have to make this really really simple for you. Under the law, dogs must be controlled, lest they cause a danger or harm to people/property, which is why when a stray dog craps in your garden you can, under law do something about it, even if it's just prosecute the owner for trespass.

I do take my responsibility very seriously, I feed my cat a diet that is suitable to its kind, treat it in a way suitable to its kind, and allow it to have a suitable surrounding and area for to roam, with such stimulation and environment to allow it to behave in away natural to it's semi domesticated nature.
Cats do not present the same risk of danger or harm, so cats are not, under the rule of law, able to commit the offences that dogs can and do. So cats are free to roam where as dogs are not. If dogs were free to roam there would be a whole lot more shoot in your garden than there is now.
Until a year ago I was a non-cat owner, and unlike several people here, I have accepted that cats will crap in my garden, as will badgers and foxes, and other urban/semi wild animals, and I, being the one gives a shoot about the state of my garden and having a young child, I would have to clean up their mess. Now no one is bitching about foxes crap, or badger crapping and not even covering it up. Cats are animals that are allowed legally to roam, so like birds and other animals there is nothing that needs to be, or can be done.
Apply Rule#5.

If it's not buried and stinks really bad it's not likely to be a cat, fox maybe

Its definately the errant cat from across the way...have seen it do it. Good job it was already crapping itself cos when I hissed out the window at it, it shot off like its ass was on fire. Since the cats have left recently so has the crap.

Oh well, I am glad it's on your lawn and not a pavement, sports pitch or play area. I run a junior football team, I spend time before every single game moving dog shoot, a big green social area, dogs and bone idle mutt owners is an awful combination. You'd think 2 big white goals and white line markings would give them a clue? Cat poo is an insignificant problem compared to dog poo.

I agree about inconsiderate dog owners. Always pick my dogs up. Can't say having the garden where my kids play is inconsequential though.
