Yes I went on that ferry in November on a tour with my local ctc. We only went for three days staying in bruges. Had no problems on ferry with bikes but I will certainly check thanks
Hull Zeebrugge is a normal P&O passenger service with tons of cabin space. It's not a freight ferry.
Thanks for correcting me:smile:.
I knew about the Hull-Rotterdam service but must confess I hadn't heard of this ferry route and when I Googled to check it was only the freight ferry that came up on my search.

Now that does give food for thought, I would need to check distances and possibly look at a round trip back to zeebrugge

I know the idea of a round trip including Rotterdam and Zeebrugge sounds 'obvious', but each merits a trip on its own. The Bruges area has a lot to offer. There is a lot to see and the coast roads have some very nice places to visit. You can follow paths and small roads from Nieuwpoort on the coast to Ypres which essentially follow the 1st world war trench lines or have a look around the coast near Breskens, an old fishing port. You won't be stuck for things to see or do and you will want to spend some time seeing places like Ghent and Bruges.

Google up some images for Ijzerdijk for the Nieuwpoort to Ypres run. But it is 1st world war stuff, it's a bit somber especialy when the 'attractions' are things like the Trench of Death. You might find the Chocolate Museum in Bruges more convivial.
