Did you hear about the bloke who eat beans for his breakfast, beans for his dinner, beans for his tea, and beans for his supper ?

He died of a Fart Attack !!!

If I had my way (which is seldom) I would eat about 8:30 or later as I've bee heavily influenced by an old (Italian) housemate of mine who made delicious food (and drink) and would eat about 9:30-10:30 - I think it's all the memories of good times there that make me eat so late.

However, SWMBO has decreed a time more like 6:30 - way too early for me but I am powerless to resist her (annoyingly logical) arguments regarding bloating, digestion before bed, etc.

By the way - on the menu tonight: Anchovy pasta - take linguine, chopped tomatoes, lots of olive oil, brunoised red onions and a nice tin of anchovies, together with black olives (finely chopped if that's your thing) - simmer until reduced to a fairly sticky sauce, stir into the linguine and serve with a little grated gruyere or parmesan, lovely!

Started young, and still going.

Barnet,
We eat at about 6 p.m. That is when I am at home as I do shift work. When I am at work on a late turn of duty it will depend on what time I start and when the meal relief is booked on the duty.

Tea in our house hold is about 5pm and then a few biscuits before bed.
