A 22 year woke up to discover that he'd booked a flight to Brazil and he had no recollection of the transaction.

The airline wouldn't refund the ticket so he had an unplanned holiday. It all worked out well.

Read about it here.

My surprise was a severe burning sensation on my first visit to the toilet the morning after the night before. Sitting in a bath of cold water and using my mother's hair dryer set on cold only offered temporary relief. I guessed that I'd had a curry. My walk to the Sunday lunchtime pub session witnessed a pained and bowlegged gait.

I was greeted with cheers by my pals who then brought me up to speed on the previous night's activities.

I'd correctly guessed that I'd had a curry. The confirmed that I'd been for a curry and instead of my customary chicken madras, I'd ordered a chicken phaal 'extra hot' insisting against the waiter's advice that I'd cope. For good measure I emptied the chilli bowl on the curry and sweated my way through the curry with the entire restaurant staff looking on expectantly.

What was your morning after the night before surprise?

Does buying things on ebay with no memory of the event count?

I have quite often in my younger and less well-behaved days, woken up with people I didn't remember, and people I did remember but didn't expect to see in those circumstances. Sometimes this was with a sinking feeling, other times it was a pleasant suprise. These days, it's more likely to be an item of clothing or a pair of shoes I don't remember bidding for on ebay etc. Funnily enough, the feelings are much the same...

Not Me ... But the Mrs tells me she had a night out in Manchester(Straight from work) got the train home slept through her stop which was 13 mins down the line and woke up in Leeds then stayed the night in a lodge , she stated its wasn't drink but was tried from a busy day at work

Not quite the same thing. I woke up and was happy to find that I'd been outbid....

I got caught up in the bidding for a Cold War Royal Observer Corps underground observation bunker at the edge of Leeds. I passed out before I managed to make a winning bid.

I reckon that I'd be living in it if I'd won the bid and my wife had discovered my folly.

very similar to yours . except I vaguely remember eating a curry - what I hadn't recalled is sending it back to make it hotter- 4 times.

I imagine it was akin to licking the sun or eating lava.

the appearance at the other end of the alimentary canal was interesting too. a sphincter like a blood orange would be a good description

After a "rock and roll" evening, I woke up in my student digs to discover a note left on the adjacent pillow. It said, "Thanks for the great night, Carly" (I still have the note, btw).

To this day, I have no idea who left it; no recollection of what happened; can't imagine the word "great" was in any way appropriate, and still feel that this will one day come back to haunt me...

As a student on placement abroad, waking up with a hangover to find I had blocked the kitchen sink in my little studio apartment with a mixture of lager, red wine, pasta, tomato sauce and lardons vommed up at 1am the night before. Had to take the u-bend trap off to clear it before staggering into work.

Well, you did ask...

After coming home extremely tired in the early hours of one Sunday morning I hung my suit in the wardrobe (That was in the seventies when suits were in fashion among the young and beautiful) and thought no more about it. Next weekend as I prepared to go out I retrieved the suit in question from the wardrobe to discover a huge trail of dried vomit all down the front.

Woke up on Sunday to find I had listed my dishwasher on eBay.
Which I intended to do anyway, I just don't remember doing it!
Anyone want a dishwasher? You can have it for free if you come and get it - no one else seems to want it!
