Does buying things on ebay with no memory of the event count?

Strange you should mention that. I have an alert in my Inbox telling me that a large poster of a tennis girl scratching her bum will be with me tomorrow. I'm not sure if I ordered it for my own purposes or as a gift for one of my youthful relations from Wicked Uncle Slowmo.

This was in the 60s............I doubt it could possibly happen nowadays.
A night out in Liverpool when I lived on the Wirral. My mates got me onto the last train............(they were getting the ferry) and apparently asked some girls to make sure I got of at Moreton.
I woke up at 04.00 a.m. in the railway sidings at West Kirby.........so faced a 5-6 mile walk/stagger.
Amazingly I teamed up with another drunken guy and more amazing still........as we staggered along, a car pulled up and someone gave us a lift.
I still remember the banging headache I woke up with

I went out looking like this ... (that is a picture of me when I was about 21)

And woke up the next day looking a bit like this ...

What worried me most was that it took me several minutes to work out what I had done! :okay:

In a particular job, we had a period of going out every Friday straight from work, not eating, and boozing till closing time. I used to regularly fall asleep on the train home (this was London), miss my stop, and end up getting a taxi back to London from the wilds of Kent. It got very expensive, and I wasn't Mr Popular when I got home, either.

After a "rock and roll" evening, I woke up in my student digs to discover a note left on the adjacent pillow. It said, "Thanks for the great night, Carly" (I still have the note, btw).

To this day, I have no idea who left it; no recollection of what happened; can't imagine the word "great" was in any way appropriate, and still feel that this will one day come back to haunt me...
I had a similar experience, except the chap in question wrote the message on our communal ironing board which was propped outside my room.
I was reminded of my slutishness every time one of my housemates did some ironing.

Er, possibly ... sorry, I have forgotten why I did it!

Actually - I haven't ... I had been happily chatting away to mates in the pub when a complete stranger walked up to me and said that if I thought I looked cool, then I was fooling myself - I looked effing stupid. It upset me so much that when I got home I used a pair of nail scissors to scalp myself. Almost literally - so close and frantic had been the pruning that I had small cuts all over my head.

Became the lead actor in Jarhead? Impressed
It was way before Jarhead was filmed, about 2 years before Jake Gyllenhaal was born in fact. If they had been filming a similar story 27 years sooner then I might have had a go! :okay:

I once woke up and the first thing i noticed was a terrible hangover, quickly followed by a purple feather boa around my neck. Then I wondered where the traffic cone in my room came from, along with the "CCTV In Operation" sign in my window... no idea where i got any of them.
