What is a the root of our malaise, and our headlong plunge into the relegation zone, and what should Pardew do to correct it?

Get a few players who can kick a ball vaguely in the right direction.
[Edit: They won't get relegated... this always happens around Christmas time... I blame the cold NE winds... who in their right minds would choose to play football up here!]

It's just a good league this year.

2 Excellent teams that are a cut above.
13 Teams that can beat each other. A few of which do so more often than others.
1 Mystery team
4 Shockingly bad teams.

You could finish 15th or 7th depending on confidence. Acquire some and you can aim high. Fail to and you'll have a forgettable season.

Pardew should use the transfer window to sign Billy the Fish from Fulchester United. Pay whatever is needed to bring him in. He will take them to the top 4 and save the day (again)

I'd be amazed if it was anybody\s second favourite club, particularly if they'd bothered actually going to that atrocious stadium they play at. You're so far from the pitch, you may as well be watching from the Metro Centre, which you can see more clearly from some of the seats than you can see action on it. You need a telescope the size of the Jodrell Bank one to get any idea of what's happening several hundred metres below you. We've stopped going to that one because of the way they have us over (financially) and we won't put up with it.

Now I'm looking at that table thinking, yes we're off the bottom:laugh:
With regards to NUFC and other clubs that are not doing so well I'm starting to think that the managers get the blame too quickly and the players need to shoulder a larger portion of the blame. Pardew is a good manager, so is Oneill.

Always had a liking for Spurs. As a kid,Steve Perryman set up two sports shops in Hayes,Middlesex. We would go and buy all our kit there and bump into a few players.
