Ha ha: yesterday had to leave Gonzales the ice bike at the Lbs - he's poorly - then we had a snow storm in the evening!
All gone now, but I hope I'll have him back by Monday.

Place is closed the weekend, it's one of those "community cycling" places, opens monday to friday 10-14.30
So no visit possible todaybut they have the best bike mechanic in town

Much obliged, I was thinking of doing the same but was wary of taking the blame for an Arctic whiteout. Now I can swap tyres over with a clear conscience! :-)

Nope, just a small bubble of eternal sunshine and warmth, which follows me every day on my commute, kerplunk, kerplunk, whoops where's my thribble?

Well the predictions were true! We encountered solid ice on our ride and there was reports locally of someone hurt sliding on ice, yet our ride finished in 8degs sunshine :-/

A little premature I think, my last use of the M Winters last winter was the 23rd of March.
Although it would be nice to think the possibility of ice has gone.

It's alright cuz I finally got my Schwalbe Winters (non M) last week, and of course there has been no ice around my way since I fitted them

Well I've seen mentioned that we are heading back to stormy weather again , I'm hoping they are wrong.

They forecast snow but it didnt come. I might take the MTB down Snowdon if it gets some snow at some point.
