Expensive helmets....waste of time

I was out riding last night and got smacked full in the face by a bat.....twice. I mean a winged mammal, not one of those things Australians cant use.

So much for expensive helmets that are supposed to protect us. Not a scratch on it.

I got stung by a wasp on my forehead yesterday, if I had been wearing a helmet I would have been safe.

It was a helmet refusenik bat, it was trying to prove that helmets don't prevent bat strikes, and are therefore completely useless for everything, except growing tomato plants in.
