Experience with Gaadi inner tubes.

What are the drawbacks of these tubes? Apart from being more expensive.
Are they appreciably heavier, are they less robust? Is there any issue where the 2 ends meet? Bump or recess showing externally in the tyre?
There's clearly a market for them but if they're such a great idea as they seem, you'd think other manufacturers would jump on the bandwagon. Do Gaadi have a patent?

Gaadi can't have a patent, the things were around in the 1890s. Dunlop's original designs were a linear tube. If they overlap too much in a high pressure tyre they probably make a disconcerting thump every time the wheel goes around.
