A while back I went to a classic racing celibration at Silverstone. Private owners showed off their racers of various vintages. The older, slower cars were much more fun to watch - tail hanging out, tyres screaching and drivers sawing at the wheel. The newer cars just zipped round the corner scalextric style, noisy but dull.

back in the 90's Sunday afternoon tv use to be watch the f1 race after a lunch time session in the pub then fall asleep now days it would be just sleep
