Of course if Noodley does go the full mutton chops and handlebar route, I'm sure many of us would 'sponsor' him towards a Planet X purchase:biggrin:

I'll post the results of my beard/mutton chops/handlebar 'tache growing in a few weeks. At present it is heading towards a full beard, but I might get pissed one night be tempted to go a bit 'avant garde'...I might even post pics with a Planet X bike

Welcome! Great song and great vid! Some of my daughters mates went to see them locally recently, I wish I'd known.

My friends two year old daughter at the time was very keen on singing that pretty much everywhere she went for a while.

And this season I am currently modelling the "patchy bumfluff" look.

No-ones taken the michael yet  I think they must be laughing behind my back.

2 years ago, one of my team though he'd look really cool with a goatee. I thought he looked daft and, because I'm a decent sort of chap, I grew one myself so he could see what they looked like.

A week later, at the Christmas party, a female colleague who I hadn't seen for a month or so came up to me and said "What are you doing with that on your face? Your mouth now looks like my tw**".

Absolutely brilliant, are your colleagues naturally that candid or was this the product of a few too many mulled wines.

Both. She is a fantastically straight-talking Irish girl, the most beautiful person to get wasted with, always willing to kick off, usually with coppers. The Christmas Party won't be the same this year.

Back to the OP, I never shave at weekends and very seldom when on holiday - the most I do is use the clippers which reduces the growth to a bit of a George Michael stubble thing. Then again, given my other physical attributes, I am not vain enough to think anyone notices what the heck I do with my chin.

My suggestion would be to leave it to happen, take a long trimmer to it weekly. If you are going to get hairy, make it at least the easier option than the daily / twice daily shave.

Handlebar moustache. I want Mr Plax to grow one but he refuses. I have managed to persuade him to grow side burns though. To be fair he probably would look stupid with a 'tache and I always moan at him when he doesn't shave at the weekend as I have sensitive skin and kissing him gives me "stubble rash".

Some men just need beards. One of my ex boyfriends had a beard. He shaved it off and I had to dump him, he was hideous .
