Exactly LFTs only have utility if used by significant enough numbers and if people act on the results.

I have seen LFTs that were a clear negative at the 15 minute mark show a faint positive line after being left for a couple of hours.

When my sister and brother in law had covid a few weeks ago the positive line was very faint. I wouldn't take that as a reason for the tests to be faked ones.
Indeed. My first positive test was so faint I reported as negative. Two hours later the retest was much more definitive. PCR the next day was also positive!

any syptoms ?
Yes. I took the test due to scratchy throat and feeling odd and light headed (had temperature). Then bunged up and v sinusy. Lost taste partially and smell completely after a couple of days, then tickly cough for few days (this was Delta variant)

You have a test kit that can tell the difference between the Delta and omni variants ?

I tried it with orange juice - in the interests of research! Didn’t work.
Me too. Also Regular coke, fanta, doctor pepper and ribena. It was a work team building thing. Grapefruit juice was tried by someone, Froot shoot, various kids drinks, fizzy and still. None of us could fake a positive result.
