Klein made some fine machines in their day, and many others were going to extremes with paint jobs in that era as well. I mean, read the very informative description and you'll see why I am looking for the joint flexibility to be able to kick myself in the arse for not buying one many years ago because someone offered to sell me one for $200.00 US, because he had never heard of the brand.

There is a sharpness, a tendency to transmit a great deal of shock, from the road to the rider in some of these early aluminum bikes, especially early Treks, Cannondale, Schwinn # series, and Klein bikes. I believe Klein built the Ontare for Schwinn. Kleins were so good, you didn't care about aluminum's drawbacks. And I think they, and the Raleigh Techniums, were more comfortable than other aluminum bicycles at the time.
