I watched the whole series thanks to your original post, and I really enjoyed it - thanks!

Same here. Thanks @User13710, some of the best TV I've seen and all the better for being 'just' 10 episodes, no slack at all. Malvo was definitely devilish, reminded me of that character in No Country for Old Men who I think was Death himself.

I'll reserve judgement until the end of the series as to whether it stands up to the first series but the best thing on telly at present. I like the various links to the first series. I just hope that they don't overdo, as with a lot of US shows, with more unnecessary sequels.

I will avoid the posts above for now because I have not watched last night's episode yet ...

My sister was up for the weekend and watched the Fargo film with my nephew. They asked if I had watched Fargo. I said that it was one of my favourite films, and that I also like the TV series.

They completely missed the point. They saw it as an unrealistic thriller rather than a black comedy! I asked how they could take those accents seriously, and as for the scene at the end where that man is putting bits of his mate through the wood chipper - ha ha ha!

I'm rather disappointed with this series. I'm only up to episode three so I'll give it another two but so far it's not a patch on the first series.

I was under the impression that the accents were quite accurate for Minnesota.
Then I think I would laugh a lot in Minnesota ... (Though not to the faces of the locals - that would be rude!)

I asked how they could take those accents wide-eyed heavily pregnant Minnesota cops catching big guys putting parts of their mates through wood-chippers seriously?

This week's episode (S02E09) was superb but weirdness towards the end was a tad questionable.

Hanzee Dent just keeps on getting better
