Fastest ever speed on a road bike?

I went out for a 75 mile ride today ( leJoG & 3 peaks challenge next month!). Anyway whilst riding up my road on my Spesh Secteur elite when my garmin got a bit confused and logged my top speed at 135mph!!!!!
I'm well impressed with that but found it disheartening that I only averaged 15.1miles over the journey So can anyone beat that!!!!! Tony

You're slow, my old Garmin recorded 1143.7mph, my new one has never suffered from interference AFAIK

I have a maximum speed recorded on my Garmin of 9,800.1 mph but I must have arrived back before I set off on that journey

My phone rang in my front pannier and it accelerated me up to an astonishing 9999.99 miles per hour, to be honest I think I was going slightly faster but the screen needed an extra digit.

been spinning up to 60 mph on the turbo laitly
then did some big mountain decents and got up to 50 before some big bends made me bottle it!
