Why were they making a big deal of the tracks? Other than that it wasn't much of an advert for Fat Biking, that coast does look lovely though.

I was thinking similarly. Can’t see the environmentally friendly message just because the tyres don’t leave much of an imprint on the sand.
Must make it easier to ride instead of digging in though.

I rode on Harlech beach with 2.25 tyres... HARD going (but darn good fun though)

I did that once and found it sooo difficult.
Of course It didnt help that it was full tide

Fat bikes have their place on snow, mud and sand, but have a bigger rolling resistance. Great winter bikes and I believe their grip is good - but less impact on the environment. Nah.
