Is this for real ? (non competitive) cycling is not allowed to be shown on the TV under BBC Directive 631.
 
Why were they making a big deal of the tracks? Other than that it wasn't much of an advert for Fat Biking, that coast does look lovely though.

I was thinking similarly. Can’t see the environmentally friendly message just because the tyres don’t leave much of an imprint on the sand.
Must make it easier to ride instead of digging in though.

Fat bikes have their place on snow, mud and sand, but have a bigger rolling resistance. Great winter bikes and I believe their grip is good - but less impact on the environment. Nah.
