Mrs CP and Miss CP were still in bed this morning, so I dragged the bike out and went for a jaunt. Got a call at Nunburnholme (cat 4 climb round here) and it was Miss CP (5) asking me when I was coming home - she wanted to make me breakfast (sniff - wipes tear away), so I finished the climb and did the last 9 miles home in 30 minutes (incuding a chat with our local Chinese takeaway proprieter who I met out on his daily walk).

They've gone to Miss CP's grandad's now, and will be going to a party after that for a few hours, so another few hours or so on the bike is tempting.....

Edit: Got a massive card, breakfast, cup of tea, key ring, 2 performance t shirts, and a cycling t shirt...

I was woken up to breakfast in bed (black pudding & beans on toast) and then a bag containing a card, a bag of Haribo Tangfastics, a large bar of Cadburys Fruit & Nut, & a bottle of whisky.

My daughter brought me breakfast in bed, scrambled eggs, beans & 2 veggie sausages. Son No1 bought me a box of jelly babies, son No2 4-4-2 magazine. I went for a 2 hour cycle feeling very much appreciated............................for once. Hopefully my good lady is saving my present for later.

My dad got a card from each of us, socks from my brother and a big box of chocolates from me.
I might even take him out for a drink sometime in the week.

I went for a 45 km ride and came home to a card and a travel bag with shower gel and deodorant from my son.
Nothing from my daughter as she is in Ibiza on her hen do! She did promise me something on her return.

A double for me today Fathers day and my 40th birthday And im off to work in 3 hours great day

I got two cards, a nice Polo shirt and a MTB jersey that needs to go back because it's very red.

Oh, and my lad scored a try and got man of the match. The try was disallowed, but five of us were within ten feet of the try line, and one of our managers got cited for calling the ref a cheat, and the rest of us all saw he'd grounded it perfectly well, and and and and and.... I told Cubester it still counted for Fathers' Day

took nice bike to another relatives with more secure storage
dismantled kids playhouse
got 2 cards from swmbo the kids and a cheap watch,(which apparently i should have had for my birthday) i do not wear them because i find them annoying on my wrist.
