Don't know how to embed video on my phone but here's the link to Branagh's version of Shakespeare Henry V act 4 scene 3 (St Crispin's Day, and band of brothers, etc). Good rousing stuff and a brilliant interpretation.
Ed. Looks like I've worked out how to embed video^_^

The cheesy music spoils it for me. The opening of the film - an overcoated Jacobi as the chorus - is suberb though.

The best St Chrispin's day I've ever heard is a very unconventional reading by Mark Roylance at the Globe (sadly I only saw it as a clip) - instead of a rousing speech he reads it as sarcastic gallows humour from a man accepting his impending death - and his companians accept it in similar vein - chilling and brilliant. It really worked - same words, different tone of voice - utterly different meaning. Possibly not what the Bard intended, but shows the power of his words to simultaneously have many meanings. wow !

Tee original film was a masterpiece, and the loss of much of the original, its being re-found, the remastering, and the merging of different versions to the present form

The superb "Wicker Man"

The scene where Edward Woodward realises his fate and the totally incongruous singing and dancing at the grand finale make this is one of the most disturbing and effective scenes of all time

Please take this as a warning!

( Iwill hunt to death and kill all therelatives of any person who mentions Nicholas CAge!)
