Apart from my already nominated psycho-naut Ms Nowak, I would like to nominate Alexei Leonov who was the first man to walk in space and shortly after that the first man to realise that an inflated spacesuit is not a good idea if you have to bend over to re-enter a very small capsule door.
Leonov just let loads of air out of his suit, came very close to hypoxia whilst re-entering the capsule but made it.
