yes... it was very good, and I'm not really a fan of Dire Straights (too dire, too straight).... I was hoping it'd be a series with a different guitarist each week, but it appears to be a one off... still enjoyable though.

Agreed, on the series thoughts

I'd have liked to see one on Brian Setzer, which goes without saying, as he's still got to be one of the most under-rated guitarists around

Plus, did you know that Setzer was the first artist to have a signature range named after him (in 1990), by Gretsch, since Chet Atkins in 1957!!
Which must show how much they appreciated his use of them

I had to Google Brian Setzer to find out WTF he was... one of the riffs i like playing on my own guitar i call Seven Nation Strut... a similar bass run to Stray Cat Strut* then the riff from Seven Nation Army (ish)... i quite like it.

*having just listened to Stray Cat Strut for the first time in decades.. it's nothing like it!

Surprised Keef hasn't had a mention yet - just getting Honky Tonk Woman, Start Me Up, Brown Sugar, All Down The Line and umpteen other decent riffs out of THE EXACT SAME TWO CHORDS has got to be worth something!!
