Just polished off last nights left overs - Shepherds Pie!

I have a bit of a penchant for refridgerator cold left overs, sometimes the food taste better than the night before... Most of the time I cook extra and specifically save some food to eat cold the next day!

My favourites are;

Curry
Lasagne
Shepherds/Cottage Pie
Fajita's

Strangely enough I am not a fan of cold Pizza!

Is it just me or does anyone else skip the reheat?

As above. I did forget to put the curry in the fridge one warm night and soon learnt a lesson via the loo.

It depends. Some things I prefer to re-heat, others not. A particular favourite cold leftover for me is ratatouille, it makes an excellent salad, with a few lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes thrown in! But alas! The ratatouille that Mrs P dishes up is so 'more'-ish, that there's seldom any left over after the first serving-up! :cry:

I wonder if I should recount the tale of my youth, the leftover roast chicken, and a large number of Calliphora vomitoria (young'uns)...

No, perhaps better not. Some CCers may not have eaten their lunch yet...

Anything with chillie in I like things hotter than the Mrs so I make it medium hot to suit her taste and by the time it spends overnight in the fridge it's hotter yum yum!

I think Bolognese sauce might actually improve with being a day old.

Curry = Win - flavours get even better with a re-heat I reckon
Kebab = Win (as long as it's a good chicken one and has not gone soggy)
Chips = Epic Fail - they always go bad
Bolognaise = Awesome, especially spread on a (fresh) piece of toast
Sausages = yum
Chinese = hit & miss - there's some good sauces and meat, and some that turn to gelatinous gloop.
