How to choose? There has been so much good stuff. Beck's new album is wonderful, I first heard it flying over the Caspian sea in the middle of the night. The latest offerings from The Della Grants are solid rocking blues. Nils Frahm and Olafur Arnald both did beautiful solo stuff and their collaborations were greater than the sum of the parts.
For me though it is an album that took 20 years to come. An album you can't buy in the shops yet. Every song is sublime and I can't pick a favourite track because my favourite is whatever I'm listening to at the time. Here are the first three.

I like a bit of Elvis from time to time. I don't like all of his stuff but this arrangement/version is just wonderful.
