Glenmorangie is my preferred tipple (it's a single malt). Though also do like Glenfiddich and Crown Royal (Canadian Whisky)

This is my favourite.

But I will drink almost anything with alcohol in it  . Laphroaig probably my least favourite of those I've tried  .

I used to drink Glenfiddich back in the 80's when it was an unblended single. Then it went down hill and became a bit rough so I moved to Bells for a while as it was cheaper.

Then I stopped drinking the stuff until 10 years ago when I got a promotional Aberlour miniature with the promise of a full sized bottle after a 10 year wait. So I waited 10 years, without drinking any spirits, and last month started to enjoy my free bottle.

I like Irish, or a full-on peaty single malt. I currently have a bottle of Laphroaig that's got a very short half-life.

Last night I was on the Dalmore, tonight it's the Black Bottle. As a provider of services to the marine leisure sector, I just tend to drink the whisky I'm paid in, unless it's an Islay malt in which case I have a contact who operates a fast exchange service. I don't let the TCP pass my lips thank you.

I am not a whisky drinker but was after recommendations for a good one to get my father for fathers day. The wife's grandfather is a whisky drinker and he recommended Glen Moray a single from Aldi. I gave it to my Dad and he was rather surprised at how nice it was, when I told him it was from Aldi he couldn't believe it. Its been in the Mail as one of their top whiskys and won a gold best in class thing as well. Not bad for £15 a bottle. Apparently its one to try if you can pick one up next time you getting your cheap cycle kit.
