I currently run a triple front 105 with a 30-40-52 chainset, the thing is i don't like the jump from 17 to 19 and i have been looking at ways to to put an 18th in there, but it seems a little difficult and retain the lower gearing, so I had a look and came up with this.
My current is a 40x16=65.5" 40x17=62" (this is pretty much my average spinning gear) and 40x19=55"
I am thinking of this 38x15=66.5" 38x16=62.5" 38x17=59" 38x19=52.5"
I know the jump is still there chances are if I am lower than this I am climbing some gradient and the bigger stepping doesn't matter so much.
So what I am asking is does anyone know if the FD5703 will jump 14th from 38 to 52th, I know the FD5700 would, but its not the route I want.
