You're not alone Ben.

I fell off the canal tow path on Wednesday - attacked by a swan protecting her nearby young ones. It ran straight at me, I turned sharply to avoid, lost traction on a muddy patch and went over. Was seen by two walkers who initially laughed, then came over to help.

Ego bruised, all else ok

THIS is why helmet cams were invented

I had a run in with a swan on the tow path at Bingley on Tuesday. At least you didn't end up in the water,

I bet you jumped up and pretended nothing had happened.

It was not until you got out of sight that you stopped to examine your "War wounds"

Hands up if you have ever done that..............:wahhey:

Wear your wounds with pride. We have all fallen off....I did in my kitchen.

Yep. I was up in seconds, shouting "I'm OK". Something to bear in mind if you seriously came off - don't be too keen to move in case you're badly hurt.

Nothing hurts any more, but my bruises are a lovely colour.

Oh and on Saturday my MTB decided to throw me into a gorse bush. My arm was covered in thorns which took ages to pull out and now it looks like I have a skin disorder and it's really itchy.

I came off on the A403 near Avonmouth on a bit of mud .A bus stopped to see if I was ok which was good of him and gave the passengers a bit of amusement.:shy: I honestly thought either me or the bike would be badly broken after sliding right up onto the pavement in a heap but was pleasantly surprised the bike was unm, arked and I was still in working order with just a few places that were leaking red stuff^_^

Ha my only clipless moment (so far) was in my living room next to a lit, open fire! luckily it didn't end in the fire too

i just had my first clip moment! (i use toe clips ;)

i always go through this car park, stop and turn right at the exit as i have a clear view of the road. seen a car coming and though i would try and stay clipped in until it passed. it must have been going slower than i thought and i started to fall to the right, tried to get my foot out but it didn't budge. straight onto my side.

hurt my forearm mainly but worst is scuffed my £70 saddle and brake lever

on the upside i think the people in the car would have been the only people to see my tumble

so i've had a moment, that should surely mean no more right..?
