Femes Lanzarote any recent updates ? (2022)

Been quite happy with playa blanca - El golfo - which is a very scenic and easy route. But now looking to go a bit further afield - most of the longer routes I can find go through the femes area one way or another. Before COVID I know signs were put up banning cyclists from the these hills- there was suggestions this was only a temporary measure - anybody been around there lately - or know how to by pass femes ?

I loved cycling around that area - just incredible. The winds were a bit crazy, and the hill at Femes beat me (was on a TT bike)
How about a ride to the volcano, Timanfaya.

Yeah - but that looks like an out and back ride - Id prefer a loop
