Grass needs clearing from between the slabs.

Treat it as a weed and it'll grow back in no time. You want it to grow, it'll do it's best to prove your green fingers wrong.

...and it needs a proper sorting. There's weeds and all sorts growing in it

Less time running, cycling and swimming. More time weeding and feeding

Forget all that, get a man in to tidy up and paint and go out on the bike.

Grey and weathered. Just mow the green bits (ignore the weed and feed folks - that just makes it grow even more). Job done. If really keen - plant your own ivy to cover up where neighbour's doesn't.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but I think that's right.

You can make wine from many things, but I'd avoid swings on account of their metallic mouthiness.

Beautiful right?

I love the growth. But I appreciate I've let things slide for a decade, hence the rejuvenation activity albeit partly driven by the new baby and nesting instinct.

Just buy a new fence and erect it in front of the old one.

And repeat when necessary in future.
