Fig Cake......anyone ever eaten any ?

Someone bought me this as a present from Menorca......description as follows......
Fig cake with almonds.
Approx 6" long (oval)
Heavy.....really heavy for its size.
I have eaten fig biscuits and can 'take them or leave them'.
I can imagine it will be good for the bowels which I really don't need

No, not really. I have eaten fig biscuits but they are not a favourite.

As an aside, I like fig rolls, the cake sounds interesting, but I can't abide fresh figs - !
